Nice, I love how you include little ripper swarm models everywhere on your bases, as if a carpet of the little bastards are advancing with the main group.

On a different note how do boneswords and lashwhips function? Do the 2 lower arms perform any function?

Here is the low down on Tyranid Warriors...

WS 5, BS 3, S 4, T 4, W 3, I 4, A 3, Ld 10, Sv 4+

They come armed with Scything Talons & a Devourer at a total of 30 points a piece.

The warriors armed with Boneswords/Lashwhips are a 15 point upgrade but worth every penny. In the Nid codex we only have 2 units that have any form of a frag gernade (i.e. assault into cover and attack at the same time... cover can kill Nids....) The two units are Carnifexi and Lictors. Lictors come with Flesh Hooks with function like a gun and frag gernades while Carnifex need to be upgraded. The Bonesword/Lashwhip combo is similar to a gernade as well while providing other awesome functions.

1) Boneswords count as power weapons. No armor saves are allowed vs. such wounds inflicted. They also are a form of a force weapon. Any model that suffers a wound from a bonesword and still lives (models with more than 1 wound) must take a Ld test on 2D6. If they fail.. bye bye.

2) Lashwhips do 2 things. First and foremost they reduce the Initiative of any attacking model in base contact down to 1. This also works as a form of gernade while striking into cover.

The models kept their Scything Talons upgrade which you see below the swords and whips. These allow me to re-roll any 1's to hit in melee.
