This is what I've been working on this past month....

In case you didn't notice I'm stoked about the new Tron Legacy movie coming out (I just hope it doesn't suck!). Lightcycles, identity discs and DAFT PUNK (they did the soundtrack!)! Since there aren't any costumes around I had to make my own. So enjoy the next new Tron Guy!

Daaaaaamn! Tell me you made a helmet and frisbee too.

Also I had no idea Daft Punk was working on the soundtrack. At the very least we can rely on that to rock our socks off.

That costume rocks Brian. I definitely want to know if you made the helmet as well.
Though I haven't even seen the first (we own it apparently) I am excited about the second one.

You've never seen this Disney movie Tron? Well, I guess I know what we're doing this evening.

All I have to say is......

TRON GUY!!!

Otherwise the costume is pretty slick indeed.....

Another plus side is you won't get hit by a car at night!

Haha! Thanks everyone. :)

I don't have a helmet...it would have been a bit more than I wanted to spend on it. I'll post more pics tonight after I finish a few little details on the suit. But I do have an identity disc that I bought and I modified it so I can attached it to the back of the costume.

Tron guy has nothing on me.
Lol. I'm surprised you haven't seen this Disney movie Becky :P

Keep in mind that it came out in 1982 and wasn't a huge commercial success but it was the first movie that had a lot of computer generated graphics and it did set a benchmark for movies that followed after it.

By Identity Disc I'm sure you are referring to the cheap version ..... black frisbee with reflective tape. :P

What the hell is Tron Guy?

Google Tron Guy.... Look for a middle aged man with a stalker mustache, beer gut, and lack of a butt. He made a homemade Tron costume ages ago. It actually lights up!

Why... why was he an Internet sensation?

My Identity disc I got from Target for $15. It makes sounds and lights up!

As for Tron Guy being an internet sensation...I don't know. That's asking why Keyboard Cat got so popular (besides it being funny :) )
